UPDATE: Dozens of people killed and injured in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Gaza

GAZA, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 (WAFA) – Several civilians were killed and injured tonight in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in the Gaza Strip.

Two people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike that targeted a civilian home in Jabalia to the north of the Strip. One civilian was also killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on the neighborhoods of al-Zaytoon and Shuja'iyya, east of Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes launched violent strikes targeting residential towers in Gaza’s Sheikh Zayed City in Beit Lahia, in the north, as well as the at-Tawabeen area in Shuja'iyya to the east of the city, killing and injuring several civilians, mostly children and women.

Rescue teams and residents are still working to pull out the bodies of those killed and the injured from under the rubble of homes bombarded by the Israeli occupation in the at-Twabeen area in Shuja'iyya.

In a later development, sources reported that 15 people were killed in the Israeli strike that targeted several civilian houses belonging to the families of al-Sheryasi, al-Susi, Mreesh, and al-Ghomri, in the at-Tawabeen area.

Thirteen other people were killed in Israeli raids on multiple areas in Khan Yunis governorate to the south of the Strip.

On the other hand, medical sources said the Israeli occupation ordered the evacuation of the Rantisi Pediatric Hospital in Gaza City as part of its continued targeting of medical facilities, hospitals, and ambulances in the Strip.

A provisional count of people killed and injured in Gaza since the start of the Israeli aggression against it on October 7, indicates that 10305 were killed, including 4237 children, 2719 women, and 631 elderly, and over 25 thousand were injured, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2350 remain missing, including 1300 children.
