SALFIT, Sunday, November 5, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation bulldozers Sunday evening uprooted 70 olive trees from the lands of the village of Haris, west of Salfit.
Local resident Nasser Daoud reported that the bulldozers uprooted and cut down approximately 70 long-lived olive trees belonging to the family of Fawaz Daoud, noting that the trees are aged between 100-120 years, planted on an area of 20 dunums in Al-Safra area adjacent to the Rivava settlement.
Daoud pointed out that the occupation forces prevented them from entering the land to pick olives several days ago, adding that the area has been subjected for some time to repeated attacks by the colonists and occupation forces such by acts of sabotage, the demolition of stone chains, and attacks on the owners of the land.
