HEBRON, Friday, November 3, 2023 (WAFA) — A young Palestinian man was announced dead this morning as a result of Israeli occupation forces opening fire on him during their raid into Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
The sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers fired live ammunition at the young man, identified as Ibrahim Zayed, 29, during confrontations that erupted when they stormed the camp. He was hit by multiple bullets, including a lethal one to the chest, which resulted in his tragic murder in a few minutes.
Two other young men were also injured by Israeli gunfire during the confrontations in Qalandia, with one of them suffering from a serious abdominal injury.
Meantime, a Palestinian man was announced dead this morning as a result of gunfire injuries he had sustained last Wednesday during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Tell, to the south of Nablus. The man was identified as Assem Jehad Ramadan.
This brings up the number of Palestinians killed by Israel in the occupied West Bank since last night to nine.
In its latest update yesterday, the Ministry of Health had announced that the death toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank has risen to 9,163, over 24,000 injured, since October 7.
