GAZA, Saturday, October 28, 2023 (WAFA) - Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured last night and this morning in an unprecedented Israeli bombardment of residential neighborhoods in several areas in the Gaza Strip, considered the most violent since the start of the aggression on October 7.
According to medical sources in Gaza, more than 25 people were killed and dozens were injured in intense Israeli bombing in the central Gaza Strip. While some were brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, there were still dozens of others buried under the rubble.
The same sources added that a number of injured people arrived at the Indonesian hospital following the bombing of an inhabited house in Jabalia camp.
The occupation artillery continued to bomb several areas east of the Gaza Strip.
The air strikes focused on Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with the artillery firing shells at the same areas.
The bombing also specifically targeted the vicinity of al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, and the Indonesian Hospital in the center of the Gaza Strip, as the occupation aircraft raided their vicinity more than 10 times.
Areas northwest of Gaza City were subjected to a series of raids, coinciding with intense bombardment by the occupation gunboats of downtown Gaza City.
The death toll exceeded 7,300 people, 70% of whom were children, women, and the elderly, while the number of injured reached more than 18,567.
The aggression entered its 23rd day amid a complete outage of the communication networks and the Internet, coinciding with the intensification of the Israeli raids and their increase in intensity and strength, since yesterday forcing people to walk long distances under bombardment to report an emergency case.
The occupation army spokesman announced "the expansion of the ground incursion" since last night in the Gaza Strip, in conjunction with intense air strikes targeting all areas.
