7 Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire in Al-Bireh

RAMALLAH, Friday, October 20, 2023 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinian civilians were injured by Israeli live ammunition today during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, in the central occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.

Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at the so-called DCO military checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Bireh fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets at the young men demonstrating there in protest of the ongoing Israeli genocide campaign against the Gaza Strip.

The live ammunition fired by the Israeli forces resulted in injuries to seven Palestinian protesters. All the injured were rushed to the nearby Palestine Medical Complex for medical treatment.

The ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza has sparked numerous protests and demonstrations across Palestinian territories, expressing solidarity with Gaza and condemning Israeli war crimes.
