GAZA, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 (WAFA) - More than 55 people, most of them women and children, were killed today and dozens more were injured as a result of a series of Israeli strikes at homes in various places in the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent said 27 people were killed after targeting a house in Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip.
The occupation warplanes also bombed a house east of Khan Younis, resulting in the death of 12 people, including children and women, as the search continue for people buried under the rubble.
Four people were killed, including three women, in addition to dozens of injuries after targeting a house south of Khan Younis, and a number of people were killed in an Israeli airstrike at a house in al-Mughraqa, east of Gaza.
A number of people were also killed and wounded in the bombing of the homes of two siblings in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis.
In addition, 12 people were killed in the bombing of a house near the Gaza port. A search is underway for people under the rubble.
The occupation warplanes also bombed a four-story residential building near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, resulting in deaths and injuries, including children and women.
In its aggression against Gaza, the occupation warplanes completely destroyed more than 4,500 residential buildings, including 12,000 housing units, while about 113,300,000 housing units were partially damaged, including 8,190 housing units that have become uninhabitable.
The Ministry of Health said more than 3300 people were killed in the Gaza Strip and 12,500 wounded since the start of the aggression on Gaza on October 7.
