GAZA, Sunday, October 15, 2023 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces continued today their relentless aggression for the ninth consecutive day on the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 41 Palestinian civilian lives, many of them children and women.
WAFA correspondent reported that at least 13 individuals, including children, were brutally killed in an Israeli aerial bombardment that targeted a home belonging to the Barhoum family in the city of Rafah, south of the territory. Many others were wounded, with some still buried under the rubble.
The Israeli occupation warplanes also pounded with missiles a house belonging to the Zanoon family to the east of Rafah, leading to the murder of a medical doctor, Salah Zanoon, and the injury of members of his family.
Meantime, Israeli occupation warplanes launched airstrikes that claimed the lives of at least 15 Palestinian civilians, as they targeted a house belonging to the Farwana family in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. Several people remain trapped beneath the debris as well.
Israeli military aircraft bombarded a house belonging to the Abu al-Hawa family in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries among innocent civilians, including children. Rescue operations are still ongoing at the scene.
In the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, at least seven innocent civilians were killed when Israeli occupation forces targeted a home owned by the Zaidan family with aerial bombardment in the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Several others were wounded, and rescue efforts continue in the area.
Another six innocent civilians, including children, were murdered after an Israeli airstrike struck a home owned by the Hassuna family in the Zawaida area, also in the central region of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military's offensive spared no mercy, as they continued their bombardment on various residential areas throughout the Gaza Strip, including homes belonging to the Abu Tarhad, Skaafi, Eid, and Abadla families.
