NABLUS, Friday, October 13, 2023 (WAFA) – At least 27 Palestinians were injured today by Israeli forces live and rubber-coated steel bullets, including one critically, during confrontations with Israeli forces in the Nablus, Bethlehem, and Ramallah areas.
In Nablus, around 24 people were shot and injured by the army’s live and rubber rounds in confrontations that broke out at the Huwara military checkpoint to the south of Nablus. A journalist was also injured after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers, and a youth sustained fractures after being run over by a military jeep.
A youth was also critically injured in the chest by a live bullet in confrontations that erupted in the village Budrus to the west of Ramallah.
Another youth was shot with a live bullet in the foot during confrontations in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, said Abdul-Halim Jaafra, head of the Emergency Unit at the Bethlehem Branch of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
Also in Bethlehem, A youth sustained injuries after being struck with live bullet shrapnel in the neck and chest in the renewed confrontations that broke out at the entrance of the town of Taqou to the southeast following the funeral procession of slain Palestinian Issa Jibreen, who succumbed earlier to critical wounds to the head he sustained in confrontations near the said town.
