HEBRON, Friday, October 13, 2023 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth in his early 20s was killed, and at least 14 others were injured by Israeli forces live bullets during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in Bab al-Zawyeh area, in central Hebron city, in the southern occupied West Bank, said WAFA correspondent.
Confrontations reportedly broke out in the Bab al-Zawyeh area after Israeli soldiers violently suppressed a rally protesting the Israeli aggression on Gaza. Forces attacked the rally with live and rubber rounds, shooting and critically injuring at least 15 people, including one critically. Hundreds of others suffocated by tear gas inhalation.
A youth, who was identified as 23-year-old Mosa’ab al-Madhoon, was taken to hospital with critical injuries, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
The killing of al-Madhoon brings up the number of Palestinians killed today in confrontations across multiple areas in the West Bank to nine, including a 14-year-old teenager. Dozens were also injured, including several critical cases.
Forces today attacked angry Palestinians who rallied throughout the occupied West Bank in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and in condemnation of the ongoing Israeli aggression against them, killing at least nine people and injuring many others.
This brings the death toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank since Saturday, October 7th to 44.
