HEBRON, Friday, October 13, 2023 (WAFA) - At least 26 Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces last night during a wide-scale Israeli detention campaign in Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
In Hebron city, Israeli occupation soldiers stormed and searched several homes and terrorized their residents, where they arrested 24 Palestinian civilians.
In the nearby town of Halhul, confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces as the latter stormed the town. The forces used live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, and tear gas, resulting in injuries to three young men who were shot in their lower limbs.
Dozens of people suffered from tear gas inhalation and were treated on the scene. Additionally, one young man was arrested during the Israeli raid.
Further south, in the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man. Meantime, Israeli occupation forces erected military checkpoints at the entrances of Hebron, its surrounding towns, and refugee camps as part of their aggression.
