GAZA, Sunday, October 8, 2023 (WAFA) - Israel airstrikes today shelled two houses in Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis cities, to the north and south of the Gaza Strip, respectively, leaving at least 27 Palestinians killed, mostly women and children,.
According to medical sources, at least 27 people, the majority of whom are children and women, were killed in two separate airstrikes that targeted two houses belonging to the Abu Daqqa and al-Zaneen families in the cities of Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis, without any prior notice.
At least 18 people were killed in the shelling of Abu Daqqa family home, while the remaining nine were killed in the Israeli bombardment of al-Zaneen family home.
Many others were injured, including some seriously.
The ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip for the second day in a row has so far left at least 313 people killed, including women and children, and around 1,990 injured, in addition to the destruction of homes and residential buildings, and the displacement of more than 20,000 people to 23 shelter centers in various governorates in the Strip.
