JENIN, Wednesday, September 19, 2023 (WAFA) - Medical sources Wednesday confirmed the death of a Palestinian youth after he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces during a military raid in the occupied refugee camp of Jenin, bringing the death toll from the aggression against the camp to four.
The sources said that Atta Yasser Atta Musa, 29, from the village of Marka, south of Jenin, succumbed to his wounds earlier this morning.
The Ministry of Health announced last night that Rafat Omar Khamayseh, 22, Mahmoud Ali Saadi, 23, and Mahmoud Khaled Ararawi, 24, were killed and 30 wounded, some of them critically, in Jenin refugee camp tonight during an Israeli army assault
Large forces of the occupation army stormed the camp, surrounded two houses, bombed them with several missiles, and prevented ambulances and medical teams from reaching the casualties.
Meanwhile, the city of Jenin and its camp witnessed violent confrontations between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces.
The occupation forces also targeted, with their drones, an electricity tower in the middle of the camp, which led to electricity blackout in the camp and parts of the city of Jenin.
Fatah movement in Jenin mourned the slain Palestinians, and declared a comprehensive strike in the city of Jenin and its camp to mourn the slain Palestinians and to reject the aggression against Palestinian people.
