NABLUS, Sunday, February 26, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Sunday closed checkpoints near the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, as the settlers attacked the nearby villages.
According to WAFA correspondent, the soldiers closed checkpoints of Huwara and Awarta, south of Nablus, and completely prevented Palestinians from moving in or out of them.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked villages of Huawar, Burin and Qaryout, according to Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlements activities in the northern West Bank.
He added that the settlers attacked properties and neighborhoods near the illegal Israeli settlements in the area.
This comes after two settlers were reportedly shot dead in Huwara, Israeli media said.
