RAMALLAH, Friday, October 28, 2022 (WAFA) – The Palestinian presidency in a statement today said that the Israeli occupation is exploding the situation through its continued policy of killing carried out against the Palestinian people, including members of the PA’s security services, the latest of which was the killing of two civil defense officers during the predawn hours near Huwwara military checkpoint.
Presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudainah held the Israeli government responsible for this crime, which he stressed, comes as part of the series of crimes committed against the Palestinian people, land and holy sites.
He demanded Israel to immediately stop exploiting the Palestinian blood in its internal political polemics.
He stressed that the international community, particularly the US administration, must promptly intervene and pressure the occupation government to stop its dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people, which will plunge the region into a cycle of violence and tension.
He further urged them to provide international protection for the Palestinian people in the face of the vicious war carried out by the Israeli occupation and its settlers.
