Occupation forces injure a Palestinian worker near Tarqumia

HEBRON, Sunday, October 23, 2022 (WAFA) – A Palestinian worker was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces today at the Israeli checkpoint of Tarqumia, in the occupied West Bank province of Hebron, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers opened gunfire at Palestinian workers near Tarqumia military checkpoint while on their way to their workplaces inside Israel, lightly injuring Ashraf Abu Qbeita, a Palestinian worker, by a live shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Yesterday, a Palestinian worker, Rabi Arafah Rabi, was killed by Israeli gunfire in the city of Qalqilia, north of the occupied West Bank, while on his way to his workplace inside Israel.

Attacks by Israeli occupation forces on Palestinian workers are almost a daily occurrence, and these attacks have frequently resulted in the injury or even death of workers.
