WASHINGTON, Saturday, May 14, 2022 (WAFA) - Academy Award-winning American film actress, Susan Sarandon, rejected the claim that anyone who denounces the Israeli violence apparently hates Israel and is an anti-semite.

“By the logic I’ve been seeing on my timeline, anyone who denounces this violence apparently hates Israel and is an anti-semite. Shameful,” she said commenting on the video showing the Israeli police violence against mourners in the funeral procession of Al-Jazeera activist, Shireen Abu Akleh.

“Shireen Abu Akleh was EXECUTED with a shot to the head by Israeli snipers while wearing her helmet and bullet proof vest that said PRESS on in," she said in a previous tweet.

“How long will we continue remaining silent while our “allies” kill journalists for telling inconvenient truths?” she questioned.
