RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 13, 2022(WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas tonight congratulated the new South-Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-Yeol on his victory in his country's presidential election.

In a telegram, president Abbas wished the new South-Korean leader all success in carrying out the duties mandated to him in order to achieve the aspirations and goals of the South-Korean people.

President Abbas praised the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing his keenness to bolster the joint work with the new president-elect to enhance the relations to the optimal level in a way that serves the best interest of the two friendly people and countries.
