RAMALLAH, Saturday, November 13, 2021 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received today a congratulatory letter from the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Palestine’s Declaration of Independence.
In the letter, President Jinping said he was interested in enhancing Chinese-Palestinian relations with a view of pushing forward joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, for the benefit of our two countries and peoples.
He stressed China's keenness to continue providing all possible assistance to Palestine to help the country cope with COVID-19 and improve the livelihood of the Palestinian people.
Jinping reiterated his country’s firm support of the just cause of Palestine and for the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign state of Palestine on the basis of the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international resolutions, including the principle of the two-state solution.
Jinping wished the president good health and success, and our people continued prosperity, peace and happiness.
