Palestinian presidency condemns Israel’s killing of four Palestinians in Jenin

RAMALLAH, Monday, August 16, 2021 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency today condemned what it described as the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Jenin, which so far resulted in the killing of four Palestinians.

The official spokesman for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said: “We express the presidency's strong anger and condemnation of this heinous crime, and we affirm that the continuation of this Israeli policy will lead to an explosion in the situation and to more tension and instability.”

He held the Israeli government fully responsible for this escalation and its repercussions, calling on the US administration and the international community to pressure Israel to stop its attacks against Palestinians so that matters do not reach an uncontrollable stage.

Abu Rudeineh added that the continued practices of the occupation, its violations of the rights of Palestinian people, its attacks, daily killings, and its violation of international law require the international community to provide protection for the Palestinian people.
