RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 11, 2021 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received a telephone call today evening from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, during which he congratulated president Abbas on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Emir of Qatar expressed hope that the next Ramadan will bring future prosperity and the achievement of the aspirations of the Palestinian people for freedom and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

For his part, President Abbas thanked the emir of Qatar for his call, wishing him and the brotherly people of Qatar continuous progress and prosperity.
