RAMALLAH, Friday, April 9, 2021 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas offered today his condolences to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and the country’s Prime Minister for the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

In an official letter sent to Queen Elizabeth II, the President expressed his deepest and heartfelt sorrow on behalf of the Palestinian people and leadership for the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip.

The President also extended his heartfelt condolences to the members of the royal family, the government and the friendly British people, and expressed his best wishes of prosperity for Britain and its people.
