RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 26, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today sent his condolences to this Argentinian counterpart Alberto Fernandez for the death of world football legend Diego Armando Maradona.

President Abbas expressed his deepest sorrows to the Argentinian president and people, and for the family of Maradona over the passing of the football legend.

He said: "With great sorrow, we have received the news of the death of international sports star Diego Maradona, who delighted millions of people with his outstanding sports talents and was a landmark in world sport, as well as a loving friend of Palestine and its people."
