RABAT, Monday, September 28, 2020 (WAFA) - The International Committee for Support of the Palestinian People said today that the Palestinian cause is the cause of all honorable people in the world and it is not negotiable, adding that there will be no peace or stability in the Middle East without a just solution to it through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, the return of refugees, and the release of all prisoners.

The committee stressed, in a statement, that Palestinian unity is the path to the victory of the Palestinian will and the defeat of the Zionist project that Israel is trying to sell in the region with the support of the United States and some countries, and it will defeat the Israeli annexation plans and its projects in the region.

It welcomed the agreement reached between Fatah and Hamas to hold general elections, starting with legislative elections, to be followed by presidential elections and then for the National Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

The International Committee for the Support of the Palestinian People is a committee affiliated with the African-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization and includes peace and solidarity committees in African, Asian and European countries. Its general headquarters is in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
