WEST BANK, October 12, 2011 (WAFA) – Palestinian cities in the West Bank Wednesday observed a two-hour commercial strike in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners who have been on an open hunger strike for 16 days in Israeli prisons.
The PLO Executive Committee called on Monday for the strike, as well as calling on the popular committees and Palestinian Prisoner’s Club to mark Wednesday a national day in solidarity with the prisoners.
