RAMALLAH, April 29, 2004 (WAFA) – Addressing a Palestinian mass rally of at least 150,000 in his besieged Quarters in Ramallah on Thursday, President Yasser Arafat said that if Israel wishes to live in security, peace and coexistence it must recognize the Inalienable national rights of the Palestinian people in independence, freedom and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.... "Your steadfastness, sacrifices prove the impossibility of the continuation of the Israeli occupation, its colonies, and the Apartheid wall on our blessed Palestinian Land", Arafat said.... Arafat reaffirmed that there can never be a place for the Israeli occupation, nor can there ever be a place for Israeli colonies or for Apartheid Wall around Jerusalem with its Christian and Moslem holy sanctuaries.... Despite Israel's policy of massacre, assassination and repression against the Palestinian people and Leadership, we can not budge on independence, freedom and the independent Palestinian state, Arafat concluded....
