Death toll hits 9 as Israeli airstrikes kill three more Palestinians in Gaza

 

GAZA, Sunday, May 05, 2019 (WAFA) –Israeli warplanes carried out more airstrikes on the Gaza Strip last night in a continuing aggression which started on Friday late night, killing two Palestinians in Bureij refugee camp, in the center of the enclave, and one in the town of Beit Lahia, according to medical sources.

Israeli fighter jets bombed a group of Palestinians at the entrance to Maghazi refugee camp and killed Mahmoud Subhi Essa, 26, and Fawzi Bawadi, 24.

Fighter jets also bombed a location in the town of Beit Lahiya, north of Gaza, killing Khaled Mohammad Abu-Qleiq, 25.

This brings up the number of Palestinians killed by the latest Israeli aerial and artillery strikes to 9, including a pregnant mother, her 14-month-old daughter, and her five-month-old unborn baby.

Israeli warplanes also carried out a series of airstrikes across the coastal enclave, destroying at least three residential buildings in the densely populated Rimal neighbourhood of Gaza City. Plus, several schools, four health vehicles and three homes across the Gaza Strip were partially destroyed by the airstrikes, according to Gaza hospitals.
