Israeli Forces Detain Four Palestinians from Jenin, Hebron

JENIN, June 25, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday detained four Palestinians during raids into the Jenin town of Qabatiya and Hebron city,  bringing the total number of detainees to six.

Forces detained Saleh Kmeil, 44, and Majed Nazzal, 21, after storming and ransacking their family houses in Qabatiya town, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

WAFA reported Majed’s father, Faisal, as saying soldiers smashed furniture inside his family house and interrogated his family members before detaining his son.

In the southern West Bank city of Hebron, forces handcuffed and detained Mustafa Tamimi, 16, after breaking into and thoroughly searching his uncle’s house in the Hebron neighborhood of Jabal al-Rahma.

WAFA reported Mustafa’s father, Bilal, as saying during the raid, forces also briefly held three Palestinians who work at his brother’s bakery.

The three young men, whom he was not able to identify, were taken to Ramat Yeshai settlement in Hebron, where they briefly held them for three hours directly exposed to sunlight.

This came after forces detained two Palestinians and summoned two others from Hebron district.
