RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today called the family of Mohammad Hamayel in the northern West Bank town of Beita who was killed earlier today by Israeli soldiers to offer his condolences.
The President expressed his strongest condemnation of what he described as this “heinous crime, which is part of the crimes of the occupation against our defenseless people in order to terrorize them.”
He extended his condolences to the family.
Hamayel, 15, was shot by a live bullet in the head when town residents confronted Israeli settlers and soldiers who tried to take over Jabal al-Orma in Beita. He died at hospital in nearby Nablus.
