HEBRON, Sunday, February 10, 2019 (WAFA) – Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers last night rampaged through the neighborhood of Tel Rumeida in Hebron City, south of the occupied West Bank, and attacked Palestinian homes with stones, according to local sources.

There were no reports of injuries in the attack, which came in the aftermath of calls by leaders of Jewish settlers in the illegal settlements in and around Hebron threatening Palestinians of murder.

The rampage came days after the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH), a European civilian force monitoring Israeli acts against Palestinians that has operated in Hebron for the last 22 years and whose mandate was cancelled by Israel two weeks ago, has left the occupied city.

Yesterday, hundreds of settlers took part in concurrent rallies in Kiryat Arba, an illegal settlement east of Hebron, and Tel Aviv calling for imposing severe punishment on Palestinians and for throwing them out of Palestine.
