NABLUS, Thursday, December 13, 2018 (WAFA) – The Israeli army closed all checkpoints south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus including Hawwara and Zaatra checkpoints on Thursday and prevented movement of Palestinians in and out of the city through these checkpoints while settlers attacked area villages and stoned Palestinian cars on the roads, according to witnesses.
People reported that the army closed all checkpoints from Nablus in the direction of Ramallah to the south and would not let Palestinian cars go through them.
At the same time, armed settlers went on a rampage in Palestinian villages in the Nablus area, mainly Assira al-Qibliya, attacking unarmed Palestinian civilians and injuring some of them.
Hospitals said at least one person injured in the head by a rock was brought to hospital in Nablus.
Settler rampages, in addition to stoning Palestinian cars on the West Bank roads, have reached several vulnerable villages in the north, center and south of the West Bank, said reports.
People have been called on to be careful on the roads and in their villages and to be prepared to ward off any attacks by the rampaging settlers.
