SALFIT, Monday, October 22, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers slashed on Monday tiers of several Palestinian vehicles and sprayed racist and anti-Arab slogans on them in the village of Marda, to the north of Salfit in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Bassam Ibdah, deputy head of Marda village council, told WAFA that a group of settlers sneaked in to the village during the early hours and vandalized at least seven vehicles belonging to village residents.

He said the settlers also spray-painted racist slogans in Hebrew on the vehicles.

Jewish settlers have intensified their attacks on Palestinian villages and property in recent weeks causing alarm among the civilian population as the Palestinians are demanding international protection in light of the failure of the Israeli military government to provide them protection from the settlers.

Last week, a 48-Palestinian mother of  eight was killed when settlers threw stones at a car she was in with her husband near Salfit.
