Israeli settlers vandalize Palestinian cars in West Bank village

NABLUS, October 10, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers vandalized early Wednesday several cars in a Palestinian village in the north of the West Bank, according to a local official.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that settlers broke into the village of Qaryout, south of Nablus, slashed tires of several cars and painted hate slogans in the area before leaving it.

He said the settlers have intensified their raids of Palestinian villages in that area particularly as farmers are busy harvesting their olive crops.

The settlers, said Daghlas, harass the farmers and try to push them out of their land as they steal the olive crops.

The olive harvest season is the most important time for thousands of Palestinian families in the occupied territories.
