Israeli settlers uproot 40 olive trees in West Bank village

RAMALLAH, October 3, 2018 (WAFA) –Israeli settlers Wednesday uprooted fruitful olive trees belonging to a Palestinian farmer in the village of Turmosayya, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, said a local official.

Said Taleb, member of Turmosayya municipal council, said settlers from the Israeli settlements of Adi Ad and Amichai, built illegally on land belonging to Palestinians, uprooted around 40 olive trees in the village owned by Mahmoud al-Araj.

He noted that Israeli settlers constantly harass Palestinian farmers in the village in an attempt to force them to leave their land for the benefit of settlement expansion.
