Palestinians Foil Israeli Settlers’ Attack on village south of Nablus

NABLUS, August 27, 2018 (WAFA) – Local families from the village of Einabus, south of the West Bank district of Nablus, Monday managed to fend off an attack by Israeli settlers against the northern part of the village, said a local activist.

Ghassan Daghles, monitoring Israeli settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told WAFA a group of settlers, coming from the nearby illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar, stormed the northern part of the village of Einabus and attempted to attack locals’ homes in the presence of Israeli forces, however, locals managed to fend off their attack.

Israeli forces reportedly intervened only to protect the settlers and detained one of the village locals. The locals identity remains unknown until the moment.
