SALFIT, August 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers attacked on Wednesday Palestinian farmers in the village of Kufl Haris, north of Salfit in the northern West Bank, and prevented them from reaching their land located near the illegal settlement of Ariel, according to local sources.

They told WAFA that settlers beat Abdul Karim Yousef when he went to work on his land prompting his transfer to hospital.

The settlers also prevented other farmers from reaching their lands near the settlement and turned them back, telling them to first get permits from the Israeli military government if they wish to reach their lands.

Ariel started as a settlement built on Palestinian land seized from its original Palestinian owners and kept creeping on that land until it became a city, in Israeli terms. Meanwhile, the original owners of the land are not allowed to reach it.
