RAMALLAH, August 14, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Tuesday extended his condolences to his Italian counterpart over the victims of a bridge collapse in Italy.
President Abbas his deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and the friendly people of Italy, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
At least 35 people died after a section of a highway bridge in northern Italy partially collapsed Tuesday.
A further 13 people were injured, five severely, according to Angelo Borrelli, head of the Italian Civil Protection Agency.
