HEBRON, July 28, 2018 (WAFA) – A group of Jewish settlers assaulted on Saturday a 60-year-old Palestinian man in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to the victim, Rashed Tamimi.
He told WAFA that settlers from the illegal settlement of Havat Gal, built on Hebron land, threw stones at him when he was at his home, causing him bruises in the chest.
He was admitted to hospital in Hebron, where he was reported in stable condition.
Tamimi said the settlers, who are usually armed, attacked his house and children.
Palestinians in the Israeli-controlled parts of Hebron, known as H2 area, usually get arrested if they try to fend off attacks by settlers, who normally walk around in the company of heavily armed soldiers.
