RAMALLAH, October 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening detained two Palestinians from the occupied West Bank governorate of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Naji Rustum, head of the Kafr Malik Village Council, told WAFA that the occupation soldiers showed up at a villager’s farm in the eastern part of the village and rounded him up.
He added that the gun-toting soldiers raided another farm in the area and vandalized it.
Meanwhile, Silwad Mayor Raed Hamed said that the occupation forces detained a 29-year-old from the town and unleashed barrages of tear gas canisters.
He added that the occupation forces stopped the municipality’s ambulance earlier in the evening as it was heading to the village of Kafr Malik and held a volunteer paramedic for some time before releasing him.
