NABLUS, October 8, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Thursday set up mobile homes and placed construction equipment on Palestinian-owned land in the village of Salem, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that colonists entered an area east of the village and, under the protection of Israeli forces, installed mobile homes and brought in construction equipment.
The move was aimed at taking over the land and establishing a new outpost in the area, the sources said.
The development comes amid repeated colonist attacks and incursions targeting the village of Salem and its surrounding areas.
