Palestinian injured by stun grenade fired by Israeli forces in Al-Fawwar camp

HEBRON, October 8, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian man was injured in the face on Thursday after being struck by a stun grenade fired by Israeli forces at civilians in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stationed at a military checkpoint established on Palestinian-owned land near the entrance to the camp closed the entrance and prevented citizens from entering or leaving.

The sources added that the soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas at locals, injuring a 40-year-old man in the face with a stun grenade.

The injured man was transported by ambulance crews to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
