Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission: Colonist attacks between Ramallah and Nablus restrict livelihoods and expand colonization

RAMALLAH, October 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission stated that the concentration of colonist attacks between Ramallah and Nablus reveals mounting pressure on the Palestinian countryside, making access to land, farming, and grazing increasingly dangerous and costly.

In a statement issued Wednesday evening, the commission said that these repeated attacks have become a tool to undermine the use of land and create conditions conducive to the expansion of colonization.

The commission explained that the environments in which this pressure is exerted vary. In rural areas, the attacks target the relationship with the land and sources of livelihood, while in Jerusalem, they affect the Palestinian presence within the urban fabric and its daily spaces.

The commission noted that despite the differences between locations, the impacts of the attacks converge in restricting movement, exhausting livelihoods, and undermining security, thereby reinforcing an environment of coercion and displacement and reshaping the seizure of land.
