TUBAS, September 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists tonight destroyed a water pipeline in the village of Atouf, southeast of Tubas, according to a local official.

Mutaz Bsharat, the official in charge of Jordan Valley affairs in Tubas Governorate, said that a group of colonists wearing Israeli occupation army uniforms destroyed a water pipeline in the Atouf Plain, which is located in Area B.

The Atouf area has witnessed escalating violations by the occupation authorities and colonists since the beginning of this year, coinciding with continued land-leveling operations in the area as part of the colonial project known as the “Crimson Thread.” The project aims to construct a military road and a 22-kilometer separation wall on lands in Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley. Atouf and Al-Baqi'a Plain are among the areas most affected by the project.
