BETHLEHEM/TUBAS, September 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces tonight raided Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, and detained a 30-year-old Palestinian man from Tubas after assaulting him at a flying checkpoint near al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, according to security and local sources.

In Bethlehem, a security source told WAFA that Israeli forces raided Dheisheh refugee camp and stormed the home of resident Ahmad al-Maghribi. Forces cut off the electricity supply to the house before searching it and ransacking its contents. No detentions were reported.

The Dheisheh refugee camp has been subjected to repeated raids by Israeli forces, during which they storm and search Palestinian homes, detain young men, assault residents, and damage property.

Meanwhile, Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in Tubas, said that Israeli forces detained 30-year-old man after assaulting him while he was passing through a flying checkpoint near al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

Also in Tubas, several Israeli military vehicles raided the al-Fara'a refugee camp. WAFA correspondent reported that infantry forces deployed throughout the camp and broke into a Palestinian home.
