HEBRON, September 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the town of As-Samu’ south of Hebron and the Bir Haram al-Rama area in Hebron city on Monday to secure colonists incursions into archaeological sites. Meanwhile, attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property continued in Masafer Yatta.
In As-Samu’, Israeli forces stormed the archaeological site of Al-Burj with a large number of military vehicles, accompanied by buses carrying colonists. This caused disruption in the town’s schools and prevented regular school attendance.
Israeli forces also raided the Bir Haram al-Rama area in Hebron city, accompanied by colonists visiting an archaeological site there.
In Masafer Yatta, a colonist stormed Khirbet Hawara, where a young girl from the village confronted him, saying, "By God, we will not leave. If you demolish our house, we will build another. If you demolish our school, we will build another."
In another attack, colonists cut and stole the electricity wires supplying the home of Ahmad Ali Atieh in Khirbet Hawara, east of Yatta.
