RAMALLAH, September 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists stole olive harvests from lands in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, on Monday.
Local sources told WAFA that colonists stormed lands in the Wadi al-Zaytoun area and stole the olives.
Earlier that day, colonists stole olives from lands in the towns of Sinjil and Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, while colonists set fire to a vehicle belonging to Ahmad Shahada in the village of Deir Abu Mash'al, northwest of Ramallah.
These attacks coincide with the start of the olive harvest season, during which Palestinian farmers in several areas are subjected to colonial attacks, including the theft of olives, cutting down and burning trees, and seizing crops, in an attempt to prevent farmers from accessing their lands and harvesting their crops.
