GAZA, September 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians, including women and children, were injured today in Israeli drone strikes that targeted a tent in the Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
From beneath the rubble of the collapsed Al-Saada Building in southwest Gaza City, emergency crews have so far pulled 21 deceased Palestinians, 14 injured people, and 12 survivors. Operations continue at the scene as rescuers search the debris for those still missing.
Medical sources also reported that 70% of hospital generators across the Gaza Strip have gone out of service due to shortages of fuel, oil and spare parts resulting from the Israeli blockade imposed on the Strip.
