JERUSALEM, September 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued orders against seven Jerusalemites, banning them from Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.

It reported that the occupation authorities served six-month ban orders, which take effect immediately, against Al-Aqsa Mosque guard Samer Abu Quwaider, Hamza Jabr Al-Abbasi, Mohammad Zalloum, Amin Al-Abbasi, Suhaib Afaneh, Naseem Khalil Hamada, and Yousef Al-Rashq.

It added that several other Jerusalemites received orders via the WhatsApp, accompanied by maps showing the areas they are prohibited from entering, including all courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, its entrances, and the roads leading to it.

It pointed out that the orders come as part of the occupation authorities’ intensified policy of restricting Palestinians’ access to the mosque compound, amid a rise in colonists’ incursions into it during the Jewish holiday season.
