RAMALLAH, September 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Data from the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission’s monitoring and documentation department showed an increase in planning activity aimed at expanding colonies, with a cumulative total of 100 colonization plans for 12,300 colonial units studied in the West Bank since the beginning of 2026 through September 13.

This is in addition to 53 plans for the construction of 5,783 units in Jerusalem within the boundaries of the occupation municipality.

The Commission added in a statement today that September saw the advancement of 12 residential plans, including four plans officially published, involving 670 units—494 for deposit and 176 for approval—and eight plans included in the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on September 9, adding 1,670 new and additional units across a total area of 1,761 dunums. Of these, 1,105 units were for deposit and 565 for approval.

The Commission added that, in September, 749 units were studied with the aim of formalizing the locations of colonial outposts, in addition to 464 units intended to regularize an outpost under a colonial plan.
