JERUSALEM, September 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces held up dozens of vehicles at the Beit Iksa military checkpoint, northwest of Jerusalem, this evening, according to local sources.
The sources said that Israeli soldiers stopped vehicles traveling to and from the village, searched Palestinian residents, and checked their identification cards, causing dozens of vehicles to queue and residents to wait for prolonged periods.
The measures caused severe traffic congestion around the checkpoint and further restricted residents’ movement, particularly those traveling to and from Beit Iksa and surrounding areas.
