JENIN, August 22, 2026 (WAFA) — Armed Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian residents’ homes in the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, on Saturday evening, opening fire and assaulting a resident, according to local sources.

The sources said a group of armed colonists attacked several homes in the Naqab area of the town and beat one Palestinian amid gunfire, sparking fear and panic among residents.

The attack comes amid a reported escalation in colonists’ violence across Jenin Governorate, alongside continued colonial settlement expansion and the seizure of Palestinian land.
